1. Gralla, North Rd (17 Brook Lane is official address) – NOI 230-0234– New single family home, septic, well, driveway and utilities that fall within the outer reparian zone of an unnamed stream. (Blair) – Continued from February 2007 meeting.

Property couldn’t perc, so had to go across Brook Lane on opposite side of road from where house is going to be. Silt fence and hay bales are up. Retaining wall will be on three sides.
Condition: Swale to be put in to direct the flow to keep it from Lake Ave. Vegetation between garage and the home. Plantings should be unmowed. That area should never have been cut. Do plantings down below and on the high side of the septic system. Putting in a row of hemlocks also.
Conditions:
1. They need to maintain silt fence and hay bales during construction.
2. The owner must install a drainage swale parallel to Brook Lane to catch water coming off the road.
3. Owner putting in pine or hemlock in a 25 ft. strip running north of Lake Ave. only in the outer riparian zone.
4. The owner shall plant a 20 ft. strip north of septic field with hemlock or pine.

3. Melissa: Letter to ZBA: Regarding a special permit of Paul Geall at 24 Carrington-Batelle Rd. “We reviewed the information submitted with the ZBA application. In November, 2006 we issued a wetlands permit to do the work. We felt that the project as submitted would not impact the resource areas under our jurisdiction. So we feel the project is able to proceed as submitted.
